Ok guys let's stop fooling ourselves now. Who do you REALLY play like?
My style of game resembles Brian McCabe.

I like to play a physical game, I like to fight when I have the opportunity . I play a defense first game, pinch when the opportunity is there. I have an excellent slap shot from the point along with an excellent wrist shot. Not the greatest skater but very good. I would much rather set a play up and be the playmaker and not the scorer. Pretty much Im a complete player but with a much higher defensive/physical side to my game than offense.Play PK and and PP.

Assets: Converted defenseman who's become a big, strong forward, with excellent wheels, great hands, loves to play in traffic and owns the front of the opposing team's net. Is virtually immovable, nearly impossible to knock off the puck, and can play all 3 forward positions (although he'll never be confused with a faceoff specialist). Also owns one of the most devastating arsenal of shots in his beer league ;) and sees the ice very well. Is known and feared league wide for his ability score in the clutch. Is easily one of the 3 strongest players in his league and is not afraid to stand up for his teammates, although he usually shies away from dirty play.

Weaknesses: The ice is clearly slanted towards the offensive zone for him and his puckhandling, while above average for a beer league in Houston, still needs some work. Tends to make one too many moves instead of shooting or passing. Has a tendancy to be too patient with the puck resulting missed scoring chances. Can be too unselfish at times, often looking for a pass when shooting is the best option. Could stand to be more physical and add some nastiness to his game, although he has been developing these "skills." Could stand to keep his frustration in check when things don't go his way, as it further disrupts his game.

Comparison: A much crappier Phil Esposito, with better wheels (compared to the competition).

What the hell, it sounds like a newspaper article. :joker:

I'm the kind of guy who is a team leader, not really flashy at all, doesn't have the greatest set of hands, is a playmaker more than a finsiher. I'd say Ron Francis myself..

Small speedy winger. Some nice moves and wheels, and a decent wristshot, but not a natural finisher. Good passer. Prone to defensive lapses. Complements a power forward or a pure goal scorer type player. Comparison? Maybe a Samsonov type.

First line on a bad team, 2nd line on a good team, 3rd or 4th line on an elite team. Or something like that.

Extremely gritty little ball of hate who both gives and takes cheapshots. I know how to play good, and am a pretty good playmaker. My speciality is to neutralize opposing players and hitting everything that moves. I don't back down from anyone.

My shot is hard as heck, but very inaccurate, which is why I tend to choose the pass first.

ive played AAA for about 4 yrs now...could have been more but my dad never let me move off of my AA team til eveyrone quit after bantams the one year

anyway, i'm a difficult player to describe

i am very skilled, no lie, i have good hands, good shot, good speed, good skating skills..overall im decent at everything...im fairly small though (5'7), but i am well built (185 lbs)

my main problem is consistency...one game ill look cash, ill be making plays and such...the next game, ill look like a sixth defenseman who has little talent and whose main objective is to just not get scored on...on a good day, im like a paul coffey (sorry i know hes the best, im just having trouble thinking of an offensive dman..by no means am i tryin to say that i bump a goal a game or anything liek that)...but on a bad day, im like friggen mike wilson lol

basically, ive always been able to make teams because of my skill...coaches see it and usually take me and dont come away all that disappointed...when im on, im really on, but its my streaky play that can be frustrating to me and coaches...in highschool i went through a streak on D where i had 1 pt in the first 12 games, only to finish with 18 in the final 8 (and they werent bull crap points either, i was really making plays and could have had alot more if my team finished on their chances)

essentially, i either look like a stud or a dud...my D game is always there, i dont get burned or pinch wheni shouldnt, etc...but my offensive arsenal isnt always with me

i dunno mabey someone can help me describe who i am...i was gonna say rico fata...but that might give you guys a REALLY bad impression :lol

My playing style is best described as Theo Fleury Jr. I'm a small guy myself, 5'6'', 220lbs, so I'm somewhat similar to him in size.

I've got those Theo traits both good and bad. I've got speed, hands, strength, grit, I'll drop the mitts if need be, I'll hit anything that moves, and I can get under just about anyones skin. I could get freaking Yashin or Mogilny to fight me if I wanted to.

My flaws are there though too. I have a tendency to take really stupid penalties when I'm mad, and sometiems I take super long shifts.

I'll never give up though, and am a very vocal leader. If I'm not already wearing the C I get labeled with that Captain material logo....

I play tier two inline for robert morris university in a local college league.

I am an above average skater with below average vision, literally no slapshot, an average wrist shot, and no moves. I used to play gritty, but i am turning soft. I would say i have average to below average passing skills. I am the kind of player that even though they don't have the skills, will find a way to get the job done. I normally do this using my hockey sense and knowledge of the game. I finished second in the league in scoring with 51 points on and somewhere around 35 goals in 13 games. This is in large part because of the superior team in an inferrior league.

I'm not sure who i am. 5'10.5" 174lbs. below-average skating, i play physical-power game, score lots in any imaginable way (garbage, deking, just regular ole' shots), I can pass but i rather shoot, not great slapper but good wrister and snap, and i'm pretty terrible defensively. Sounds kinda like Rick Nash to me...
