I recall during their SB run that people talked about Jimmy being better than Carr. Those 2 are forever linked because they came out of the same draft in round 2.Well, San Francisco hasn't found a QB as good as Carr for 10 maybe 20 years now. What's that say about them as a franchise?
Carr landed with the Raiders and beat out Schaub as the starter as a rookie, while Jimmy sat behind Brady for 3 full seasons before getting a chance to start due to brady's suspension and didn't last past game 2 before a shoulder injury. Yet, they managed to get virtually identical contracts coming off their rookie deals. One guy starting over 60 games the other under 10 games.
