December is the worst month of hockey - the adrenaline from starting a new season has faded and playoffs are too far away to really be a motivator. More than one player has said that December is the toughest time of the season to keep up the required level of play.

Considering the group we have, which I think is somewhat fragile even though I do believe it is a good team, I am hoping to get out even from December. Anything more than that would be a bonus.
