Setting up the play?
I don't think Alberts dived, I just think he took the hit in an irresponsible manner. There was every indication that he was going to get hit on the play, and instead of bracing appropriately for the hit, he put himself in a vulnerable position by reaching for the puck. I don't really know how McGrattan could take any blame for the play. He goes in for the hit and while he is engaging him, Alberts stretched out his right arm and lowers his upper body so that instead of the hit pushing him sideways into the boards, it now pushes him face-first into the boards.
