Wow, this one really hits home to me. I lost my Dad to pancreatic cancer when he was 59. The exact same as Semenko. That is a brutal type of cancer because the pancreas is hidden in the body and by the time there are symptoms, it is way too late. That was thirty years ago and there has been very little advance made in treating this. RIP.

We were just talking about him in the Gretzky thread. Gretzky will be unconsolable. They were great friends.

So so sad. Way to young.

RIP Dave Semenko. You were a good guy.

One of the true great enforcers. Kept Gretzky upright all those yrs in Edmonton.
