You're obviously not too much of a Red Wings fan if you don't love Helm. They guy brings so much energy and speed to our lineup. Sure, he doesn't score as much as Detroit probably would like him to, but he's still young and makes up for it 100 times with his energy and hard work

Last update I heard was he didn't skate on Monday (nothing new there, I know).

And, I agree--it's hard to say when or if he'll be back if they don't even know the root cause after 5 months. It'll be extremely disappointing if the Wings have to IR him for the start of next season.

been reported that he isn't skating atm as he's had another setback.
this doesn't look good, sadly...
