If you owned a lambo, and you let somebody barrow it, and when it came time to get it back, are you ok with them giving you orders on how to get it back? Or are you just gonna take it?

The only person who ended up looking like a fool was Bret Hart.

What a shitty analogy.

You come across as the type of guy that would never challenge his boss and just be stepped over.

Anyone watched the XPW episode last night? Just watched it during my lunch break and holy shit. It was promotion I only "knew" because of the New Jack shit... and gosh darn, it is even worse than I could have imagined. What a shit show.

I was in the same boat. I only really knew of it because of that New Jack/Vic Grimes match, which I think is something they hit when they did New Jack’s episode. I had looked up Rob Black on Wikipedia a few weeks ago just to see who he was but yeah that was nuts. I think one reason why that all is because no one who was really part of it went on to do anything. I think New Jack and Sabu were the only ones I recognized.

The footage of writing out the Messiah is was hilarious though. It was so bad. And they just let it speak for itself as to how ridiculous it was.

From 78 to 84
LOL. Was mostly talking about the modern age (when the oldest of us was alive), going back to Hogan's mid-80s start if you want.
Flair fizzled out quickly when he went to the WWF in the 90s. Who wanted to see a white-haired old man compete with the power of Hulkamania/Warrior?

Sure back in the 70s fans would love to see Flair. Before that; Samartino, Billy Graham, Angelo Poffo, whatever other (now might be dead) geezer was dominating his time.

Today, Flair is a greasy disgusting marble-mouthed old loser hanging onto his last days, by quoting his glory ones.
NWA/WCW was garbage with him at the top/booking and would have died much earlier without the nWo/Goldberg injections.

Womanizing/broke/sleazy/alcoholic/disgusting loser of a man.

Almost felt like an hour wasn’t long enough to explain how much of a shit show XPW was

Edit: Legit rolled my eyes that he had the gall to challenge the Attorney General of the United States on national tv

You can tell Hogan's legacy will last forever because almost all his contemporaries and immediate successors have nothing but respect for him, and they pay homage by posing after matches and citing Hogan's commandments. The fans also go nuts whenever they see a Hoganesque leg-drop. I get chills.

One of these is a compliment.
Arguably two.

Stuff like XPW is what led to the downfall of then-modern glory days of wrestling, IMO. This episode was very interesting to watch though, I'll give it that.

I forgot one promotion from back then that was very gangsta rap oriented. Had guns and twerking girls all over the place. Forget the name.

He headlined WrestleManias 1-9 (despite any 8/9 shenanigans). McMahon tried to UW him, but no dice!
SCSA is close to the Hogan pop when the glass shatters, but "when it comes crashing down..." is not even close to it. The Rock's music is about constantly eating pie or some stupid crap.

And then there's Richard Morgan Fliehr. Old decrepit garbage since the 90s.
"Whooo" please die tomorrow you marble-mouthed jackass!

There's a reason he got booed out of the joint at Mania.

I think @sabremike was talking about Hogan dropping the N-bomb.

There are stories of Austin doing the same thing (can't remember which wrestler said that?. Austin also beat his wife so they're all assholes.

Ya, Debra was a liar too. No way that good ol’ Southern boy could’ve ever hit a woman, not be a racist.

Found the steroid trial episode pretty underwhelming, especially for a season finale.

XPW, Kanyon and Plane ride from hell were my favourites of the season.

I haven't seen this one yet but I will. I wonder what they can do next season. What's like a big one they could start next season in 2 parts with? They kind of covered the major stars who died young, except Andre (which has been done enough) so I don't know what they could start hot with.

Some topics I'd like to see:

-Attempts to unionize, and to go into wrestlers not having insurance and things like that.
-WWF ring crew sexual assault allegations.
-Mike Awesome
-Magnum TA
-Droz - I know he was in 1-2 episodes but I don't remember if they really went in depth into his injury and what he's been doing since.
-CM Punk's WWE exit.

I thought about Droz, but they kind of briefly hit it during the episode he was on

Rob black is an immense pos

That is being way too kind

Caught up with the Luna & XPW episodes last night, didn't have much knowledge of Black prior, only that he had some porn ties, but that chair headshot "punishment" was stomach churning to watch, someone should have beaten Black to a pulp

yeah that was the exact point in which I made that post. All the twisted porn and narcissism aside, that is what should have gotten him a major beating from the boys. Too bad it wasn’t a real wrestling locker room and it was a mud show promotion. I feel for Luke Hawx
