At worst, this. More likely he held the line until Gormley was ready. His only crime was being loved by the coaching staff a little too much
2 down (Klinkhammer, Schlemko), 5 to go (Chipchura, Korpikoski, Moss*, Crombeen*, Smith)
*are UFA at the end of the season so no big deal to just hold onto them as long as we don't resign them

What, no David Schlemko appreciation thread?
In case anyone was hoping to see Klink when we play the Pens, he was traded to Edmonton.
Adequate depth player usually. Maybe the most forgettable Coyotes draft success story.
He wasn't drafted, he came up through Prescott...

San Antonio, actually. Was only in Prescott for 14 games.
Undrafted, Schlemko was signed as a free agent on July 19, 2007, by the Coyotes to a three-year entry level contract and was assigned to the Central Hockey League's Arizona Sundogs where he played 58 games in the '07-08 season and only 1 game for the Rampage!
