I can relate. I said it may be good value in the long run for the Cowboys even if he's a career backup and Tuggy oddly assumed I meant the 49ers.

Worst gamble by the 49ers in recent memory. Had a good laugh that in the same day I got a notification saying the 49ers wanted to hold onto Lance and then the trade announcement.

The Niners are lucky Purdy arrived. I hope he can stay healthy and continue to play well.

The Niners are lucky Purdy arrived. I hope he can stay healthy and continue to play well.

The one thing I'm worried about with Purdy is injury and maybe he was coming back too fast. His performance last night kind of alleviated those concerns a little bit, but I hope he can play the full season. I think it's hitting me that the 49ers are trusting Mr. Irrelevant to be their QB1. That is absolutely wild.

I never thought Dallas would be a place, unless it was one of those things where Dak got hurt and their season was dead at the trade deadline.

I get the trade cost was cheap, but I'm not sure what the Cowboys are doing. Lance needs playing time to increase his value and improve his play, but he probably won't play at all.

He may pass Cooper Rush pretty quickly on the depth chart, but I'm not sure the long term-plan. Lance's fifth year option is going to be a lot. Franchising him won't make sense.
