First chance to bet on the Wings as underdogs, (+120) but thinking I might take a pass or go small. Bos and Det play again on the 14th of this month, and hopefully Detroit can use this game to go to school a bit on the B's

I do like the Lightning +180 at the Hawks. CHicago is still a legitimate contender / favorite, but I think many are forgetting the flaws on the team. Crawford still has the potential to wet the bed, and the pk magic from last year needs to be replaced. Add to the mix a Saturday home game, in which half of the Hawks probably rolled in about 4am this morning, and I think I will take the long odds.

Florida +180 at St. Louis looks interesting as well. Tim Thomas looked live he never missed a beat in the opener.

dude i did the stupidest thing when i bet for my first time i bet on carolina instead on detroit like a dumbass i was wondering why my vcash didnt go up lol then i go to bet today on a game and i realized i bet under the wrong team

Yeah, I fell asleep with the game on in the 3rd, and the Devils up 3-0. I woke up and it was 4-4 on OT! Oh well.. you win some, you lose some.

Not to muck ths thread up with some of the other topics, but I must say Brunner looked very good last night (at least the in the 1st and 2nd).

Couple of good games coming up... Colorado at the Leafs tonight, and Hawks at the Blues tomorrow.

Made my first bet last night, 50 on the Rags. Naturally that's the game they decide to lose 9-2.

So I put 100 on the Hawks just to see if my "luck" holds true.

Sens vs Kings is a tough one to bet on also

I am probably going to pass and just enjoy the game ( I know it is only vCash, but hey I still have my pride on the line )

My head tells me to take the Blues, but I am still feeling a little guilty for betting against the Hawks on Saturday.

You could look at taking Calgary as an underdog at home against Montreal, but then again putting your faith in Calgary is asking for trouble.

It is early yet, best to play small while you try and get a feel for a couple of teams you don't otherwise follow, before stepping up the vAction.

Wings are -165 tonight. I am in for just 20. I am not real confident until they get the 3rd line/pairings squared away or playing better.

Colorado +145 at Boston is tempting, but I have lost twice betting against the Ave's, don't want to compound my loss by getting beat the other direction. I'll wait for them to come back to earth a little before betting them to win.
