Love this deal. Two birds with one stone. We get rid of Dadonov, who despite being a good player, didn't seem to mesh here. We also get the stopgap LHD we need until Sanderson is ready. Bonus is the third rounder.

This is more exciting because it opens up a wing spot for White to shift over for Nick Paul or LBrown to get looks at centre or for Sokolov to get a good look this year.

I did too, as it was an odd season, but taking that chance still costs the team $11.5 mil over the next couple years. If you're a budget team you can't take those risks.

Wasn't a fit in here so I get it. Still wouldn't be shocked if he scored 25+ for them next season. Doubt he'd do that here though imo.
