Is he staying in America?

we wish we knew. He injured his shoulder and there's been no word from the Habs other then he's been skating. So who knows what the plan is for him, and why it's taking so long. Will they just send him back to Frolunda when he's 100% healthy, will they send him to Laval for a 2 week conditioning stint and then maybe give him some games with the Habs to see how it goes? It's anyone's guess at this point. I see that Frolunda is in 1st place in the SHL so clearly they can do without him, but don't know what the Habs are planning with him.

Comments like this is why people end up cheering when you lose a 3rd overall draft pick in humiliating fashion.
It's just one fan...
However looks like Carolina humiliated themselves more than anything rn. Future will tell

damn has he struggled to stay healthy, plays one SHL game, gets his face smashed into the boards in the 3rd period, next game was today, playing with a full shield on left the game towards the end of the 1st and never came back.

he's been dragged by some Hab fans for his slow development after last years shit show of a stupid idea to bring him over but sounds like he's been progressing nicely in Laval. Could be a very good player if he can just get some things figured out.

Like?

I didn't see much of him, but wasn't impressed at all. He'll be 23 in a month and still think he's far from the promised land

he's struggled with the smaller ice, he's too passive at times skating half speed, but he's been improving, as has his defensive play which was always going to be a issue as he's a boom or bust type.
He does have 7 points in his last 10, nice little improvement recently.

Unfortunately it seems he’s been passed by several D in the hierarchy (Guhle, Xhekaj, Barron, even Trudeau in Laval) so it will be an uphill battle for him.

he just needs to worry about his game, keep improving it and things will work out as the skill is legit.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a major jump in production in the AHL next season for Norlinder. If that happens he'll be right back on the radar.
