donghabs98: Welcome to the TSN Playoff Preview show

LA vs DET

Goaltending

KLLR: Quick has the advantage easily
donghabs98: I have to go with Quick just look what he did this year

Defense

donghabs98: LA easliy does DEt even have a complate D?
KLLR: It's tough. Gotta say LA. They don't look great on paper, but Detroit is... Eh
KLLR: And no, they don't

Offense

donghabs98: LA, they have depth on they're lines
KLLR: Kings. Easily. Their top 9 is too good
donghabs98: they can score and play a checking game
KLLR: ^The Kings aren't as physical, but still

Series

KLLR: Kings in 4
donghabs98: LA in 4

CHI vs COL

Goaltending

KLLR: Hmmm.... Gotta go with Miller
KLLR: It's very close
donghabs98: i will go with miller
donghabs98: is has proven he can steal games

Defense

KLLR: Again, Hawks. Their top 3 D is quite awesome
KLLR: But, Colorado's D is also pretty god
KLLR: good*
donghabs98: Hawks Suter,Keith,Seebrook very good
KLLR: Seabrook is gone.

Offense

KLLR: Colorado takes it here
KLLR: I know, unpopular
KLLR: But past the first line, there is not much
donghabs98: i think CHI

Series

donghabs98: i say CHI in 6
KLLR: Cause I say Colorado in 7

VAN vs CBJ

Goaltending

KLLR: Price.
KLLR: Price > Luongo
KLLR: Especially in the playoffs
donghabs98: i would say CBJ since luongo has hiis past

Defense

donghabs98: i say CBJ
donghabs98: the VAN does not impress me
KLLR: Columbus. Vancouver doesn't have a top pairing d-man
KLLR: Edler - ????

Offense

donghabs98: I like VAN
KLLR: I like CBJ.
KLLR: They don't have a completed second line (Vancouver)
donghabs98: i like VAN slimly

Series

donghabs98: CBJ in 5
KLLR: Their first line is better. CBJ in 6

SJ vs STL

Goaltending

KLLR: Halak, easily
donghabs98: i say STL-nemi hasn't been able to repeat 2010

Defense

KLLR: ...This one is so tough
KLLR: Gotta go with St. Louis, but it's so close
donghabs98: SJ-they added top 4 defensemen in whitney and Kyle Quincey

Offense

KLLR: San Jose.
KLLR: Too much talent
donghabs98: SJ loaded with offense

Series

donghabs98: i say Sj in 7
donghabs98: but very close
KLLR: STL in 7

NYR vs Buffalo

Goaltending

KLLR: Lundqvist. So easily.
KLLR: I dunno how many times you can go against Lundy
KLLR: Ever.
donghabs98: i agree landy is a beast

Defense

KLLR: Dong is gone, wanna continue this?
Sonny: sure
Sonny: rangers
Sonny: their top 6 is too much for the Sabres, who traded away Myers and Sekera
KLLR: NYR. Losing Sekera and Myers really hurt the Sabres

Offense

KLLR: I'd say that NYR takes it here, ever so slightly. Personally, I do not like their second line.
Sonny: It's close, but I'll go with the Rangers. They have too much size to overcome

Series

KLLR: I'd say Rangers in 5
Sonny: rangers in 6

BOS vs OTT

Goaltending

Sonny: i say sens
Sonny: more experience
KLLR: I think I prefer Rask to Lehtonen

Defense

Sonny: boston
KLLR: I'll go with Boston
KLLR: Chara - Myers gives me nightmares

Offense

Sonny: sens
KLLR: I'd go with the Sens here. They didn't completely revamp, but adding Kunitz, Dupuis, Clowe and Plekanec was huge

Series

KLLR: I'd say Boston in 7
Sonny: sens in 7

NYI vs WPG

Goaltending

KLLR: I think this is about as even as it gets... Eh. I'd have to call it even
Sonny: i gotta go with a tie with this one, I love cory but he doesn't have enough games to be the clear winner, and I really like pavs too, I think his underrated. Tie for me
KLLR: I'd pick Pavs if you twisted my arm

Defense

Sonny: tough one
Sonny: i like nyi d but
Sonny: getting seebrook
Sonny: aslo was huge for bogosian
Sonny: seebrook paring
KLLR: I think I'm going to go with NYI by a hair
Sonny: i think about even
Sonny: if u have to twist me I think nyi is deeper
KLLR: I just think NYI's defensive depth is better

Offense

Sonny: jets for me
Sonny: easily
KLLR: Yeah... I don't think it's "Easy", but I would take the Jets
KLLR: Eh...I think it's close
KLLR: Winnipeg's first line is beast
KLLR: But after that? It's so tough
KLLR: I like NYI
KLLR: 's bottom 9 a little better*
Sonny: so who u pick
KLLR: Jets, by a hair

Series

KLLR: I'd say NYI in 7. I think depth will overcome star power
Sonny: jets in 7
Sonny: i think it's close
Sonny: but jets offensise
Sonny: over powers
KLLR: Can this just be a tie?
KLLR: Guess not

PIT vs PHI

Goaltending

Sonny: pens
KLLR: I'm going to go with MAF over Bryzy

Defense

KLLR: I'm going to say the Pens. I don't trust Philly's top pairing
Sonny: same

Offense

KLLR: Pens, easily
Sonny: Pens.

Series

Sonny: Pens in 5
KLLR: Pens in 5, yeah
KLLR: Alright, so, that's it!

Milan Michalek - Joe Thornton - Bryan Little
Andrew Ladd - Logan Couture - Martin Havlat
TJ Galiardi - Joe Pavelski - Daniel Winnik
Brad Winchester - Michal Handzus - Jamal Mayers

Marc-Edouard Vlasic - Dan Boyle
Ryan Whitney - Brent Burns
Kyle Quincey - Jason Demers

Antti Niemi
Thomas Greiss

The additions of Andrew Ladd, Milan Michalek and Bryan Litltle give this squad outstanding scoring depth and tons of versatility. With Thornton, Couture, Pavelski and Handzus down the middle, we have arguably the best depth at center in the entire league. Ryan Whitney provides us with a high-end puck-moving defenseman and Kyle Quincey is a gritty, two-way rearguard who can play in any situation. Our transition game from the back end will be unmatched and we have an incredibly balanced and mobile defense corps. Antti Niemi is a Cup-winning goalie who steps up his play in the postseason.

If Columbus makes it to the second round, the name "Playoffs" is no longer appropriate. The new name will be "Trolloffs"

Well, that sucks. A team that didn't even have 6 d-men beat mine. Makes sense.

EDIT: Oh, he did have a full team... Gotcha. Nevermind, good win Vancouver

[FIELDSET=2012-2103 Roster Overview]
We feel that we have one of the best rosters out on the ice. With a top 6 like ours consisting of stars Crosby, Malkin, Neal, Hall, Alfredsson and more, we can easily say we have the best top 6 in the league. And this has come without sacrificing our defense. A top 4 of Orpik, Letang, Smid and Hamonic should be one the best defensive cores in the league and with All-Star goalie, and Stanley Cup Winner MA Fleury back in the cage, we are the most promising team for the 2012-2013 season.[/FIELDSET]

Very happy to make the second round.

:rangers vs :isles

The battle of New York!

The Rangers have loads of star power, but have fallen short year after year. We hope we can be that pain in the ass team, that comes together as a group, and out plays the Rangers star players and earn their spot in the conference finals.
