15 points in last 5
21 points in last 10

That's an above average production

I didn't get those numbers. I got 11 points in last 5 games. BC's schedule.

So when can he join Anaheim?

Whenever his team (Boston College) loses in the NCAA tourney, which is single elimination. (Bracket link)
  • If his team loses tomorrow, then shortly thereafter... provided Verbeek is able to sign him.
  • If his team wins tomorrow, then we have to wait until April 11 for the semi-finals or April 13th for the championship game.

Cutter's team faces off against Quinnipiac tomorrow/today, the 31st. Quinnipiac has been to the NCAA tourney for the past four seasons, winning it all last year. If Cutter's team sleep walks in the first two periods, I don't know if they can survive against a Quinnipiac, who is a better than than Mich Tech (the team BC whipped 6-1).

Really showed off his playmaking ability with those 2 great set ups. I still think he has a legit chance at the HB

Do we really want him here for more than a single game with both Cronin and Brown at the helm? Plus this team is a mess now .

I don’t expect Cronin gone but he has to get new assistants next season. Verbeek should be hiring a PP and PK specialist this summer.

How many years did they sign croning for? If it's just 2 than I expect Cronin to finish out next year and than we bring in someone with experience

Can we get someone legit to “shadow” Cronin…. Ha Fedorov manage our special teams to familiarize himself with our talent and learn how to utilize them appropriately before kicking Cronin to the curb.

I volunteer as a tribute, or how do you call it?

EDIT: look at this picture of Gauthier. He usually plays 90 flex sticks and gets so much pop out of it at his young age. We really don't have to worry about his shooting technique nor his arm strength (and possibly upper body strength as well).

Lindros, the voice of reason

Everyone is still stepping pretty lightly around it, even Lindros, but Lindros is right that Cutter's treatment by Flyer's fans is at Briere's feet (and Jones's, too). They didn't have to say that shit. They got their feelings hurt and decided to go public with it and I hope every young player (and potential UFA) takes note.

I just want Verbeek to get Gauthier signed to his ELC. Will likely only get one game in but that's fine. If BC is eliminated next game, then can maybe see him in two potential games...

Here is the remaining NCAA championship schedule..

Semi-Finals

BC vs Michigan - 4/11 @ 5:30 PT/ 8:30 ET

Championship Game

4/13 @ 3pm PT/ 6pm ET

*Ducks play 4/13 and 4/18 to end this miserable season. lol.

Is Michigan any good? BC just walks over everyone whenever I watch, even when they play poorly.

They protected themselves from criticism on the trade return by doing what they did. If it were just a hockey trade, they might have some fans or media not happy about it.

Also if there's a legitimate reason for Gauthier wanting out, they deflect away from talking about it at all.

Totally concur. I think, especially with his history wanting a trade, getting him on the dotted line (even with burning a year) is the preferred option for sure.

Burning off that year is a good faith move by Verbeek to Gauthier. I'm not concerned about the year. It's all about getting him into the organization, signed and ready to go. Training camp will be like 5 months away by the time this season ends.

Heck, even Leo has reached out to him...
