Following fine players have career high 41 goals scored in a regular season.
Who will break the "curse" and break 41 goals ceiling during career?

Draisaitl hit the 50 goal mark, but the rest of your post is trueTIL that Ovie is the only player to score more than 50 in the past decade. And just barely. Granted 3 of those were partial seasons, but still.
It doesn't seem like scoring is that far down, but it seems 50 goals is arguably harder to hit right now than it was during the DPE or any other era since expansion. Scoring is just a bit too spread up and down the lineup. Even in the DPE you could have a Bure type player just running wild out there as a solo act, but we don't have anyone like that in the league now.

Fair"more than 50"
I was being very specific
Yep, he's definitely breaking it next year.Zibanejad’s 41 goals came in only 57 games btw. I think he breaks it next year

McDavid, Mackinnon and Kucherov. Nobody will score over 50 though unless the rules become even softer
