Another guy in camp (under an AHL contract) Stephen Macaulay won with Halifax last year

If we traded our 2012 3rd overall pick for Huberdeau, it would've been another one.

But of course it doesn't work that way :shakehead

Saint John, NB
I think he also won it with St-Johns

Indeed, although it was with Saint John - the now defunct St. John's Fog Devils never won the Memorial Cup ;)

MacAulay certainly had a charmed junior career - 4 times league regular season champ, 3 time league playoff champ, 2 time Memorial Cup winner.

It's a G. It's folded a bit. That year the team put the first letter of each player's last name on the front.

You guys are idiots... it's a C, it was sewn on the jerseys right after they won the game that year, IIRC. It stands for "Champions", as in Memorial Cup Champions. All the players had one.

In that case sign him to an NHL contract- doesn't have to play much just be on the team.

Thank you, Saint John it is! Some folks don't realize that to get to St John's from Saint John entails an 8 hour drive to the ferry, a 6 hour crossing, then another 8 hour drive to get to St. John's. And just to be redundant, MacAulay's junior career included 4 straight President's Cup appearances (1 loss), & 3 straight Memorial Cup appearances, (1 loss), his point totals improved each year, while he centred either the 2nd (his first 2 years) or 1st PK unit with what probably were 3 of the best ever junior teams in CHL history (not to mention his mother passing away during the season last year). No better young man out there, wish Nathan hadda been following his lead...

You're right on the first picture but not on the second one. They didn't change it to a C until just before the on ice ceremony to award the Cup. Before that it was the letter of the last name. I remember it like it was yesterday.
