Perron - Staal - Marchessault
Boedker - Shipachyov - Radulov
Watson - Lindberg - Rust
Dano - Burmistrov - Weise

Leftovers: Shore, Calvert, Chiasson, Pakarinen, Bennett

De Haan - Vatanen
Schmidt - Miller
TvR - Sustr

Leftovers: Dahlbeck, Hamhuis, Claesson, Marincin

Pickard
Mrazek

Leftovers: Ullmark

Assumption is Radulov can be signed to some contract. Also some sort of deal with CBJ for 1st rounder is in place. If Vats is not available I'd have to go Dumba over Staal.

Radulov is a UFA. I don't think if you sign him it counts as Montreal losing a player. I think Del Zotto is a UFA too. If you choose or sign an RFA it does count.

In any case both of them are going to be free to sign with any team that wants them come July 1--so there's no point in picking them--just sign them if you can.

It counts as MTL pick if they sign him to a deal. They have 3 days to figure out if he would sign with Vegas. There s good chance IMO that he does as they can afford any salary he demands and offer him quite good living conditions in Vegas haha If they could agree on a potential contract in these 3 days, Vegas would pick him from MTL.

They can take a player from Montreal and sign Radulov after the expansion draft is over. Of course then he can listen other offers too, but if Vegas offer is good enough he goes to Vegas.

LOL if you can sign Radulov, you do it now and don't take the risk for another minor asset you don't really need. Don't give him the chance to go somewhere else, he would make a massive difference for the team if he's on there.

Need to sign one if not two of these guys:

Oshie/Radulov/Sharp/Kovalchuk/Dadonov

I'm happy with the expansion draft forwards available for the bottom six but the top six ones either won't bring enough goals or are too slow or just not very skilled. Radulov would be the ideal one there, I think he has at least 3 years of 55+ point hockey in him.

I'd much rather slightly overpay a couple of those guys than have to take on a Matt Moulson or Brown or Ryan type contract.

Why would Radulov not want to first listen what Montreal and others have to offer?

Then start to load up on assets.
Trade Raanta and Mrazek. Play Fleury/Neuvirth in NHL and Ullmark in AHL.

Then you can try to trade a couple of guys right away or trade them at the trade deadline. Guys like Neal, Methot, Martin and Stempniak.
