RR down before face-off, EMTs on ice...

MOD EDIT:
Craig Cunningham, the captain of the Arizona Coyotes' American Hockey League affiliate who collapsed on the ice before Saturday's AHL game, is in critical but stable condition, Coyotes coach Dave Tippett told reporters Monday.

Medical personnel attended to Cunningham right away, performing chest compressions and cutting away his jersey, according to the Arizona Daily Star.

Cunningham went out on a stretcher, collapsed before opening face-off.

Game is delayed right now, cut the jersey and pads off.

Players have left the ice, looks grim

Peverly, too. Odd that we've had two now. Scary stuff.

And let's not forget Jiri Fischer, who collapsed on the Detroit Red Wings bench years ago when they were playing Nashville; turns out that was heart-related(and put an end to his career).

The longer we go without hearing specifics, the better the eventual news should be. Tippett said that the medics got to him right away and that's the most important thing when it comes to these collapses.
