Sorry, not a Wild fan.

Was wondering which of the two are better and why. I heard they both had pretty good potential, but thats all i know about them.

Granlund is definitely better, but Coyle is no slouch. Both are obviously going to get better still, but Granlund is the superior player.

Two completely different skillsets too though.

Granlund has elite level skill may become a point per game center soon (2 years away) potentially

Coyle has size and will get much better with age. He compliments Koivu and Parise very well. Hopefully he turns into a 50+ point power forward

both will not be traded and will be extended soon

Granlund has elite skillset with his vision, puck control and passing.

Coyle is much more of a bruiser. Decent skills, but his size is what his game is based off of.

Ya, but it didn't show up for some reason :/ Is it up there now?

Dang it...sounds like he's too good to get traded :( Leafs could use a C right now...

I don't think the Leafs will be getting a center from anyone right now, especially the Wild seeing as we are not strong there anyhow. (as in be able to lose one)

Granlund will be with the Wild for a very long time. I wouldn't be surprised if he remains in MN till he moves back home in 15 years or so

if you want to make a trade, send over Rielly and next years first and 2nd, we'll entertain talks then :) but seriously, he isn't going anywhere. He is the future #1 center

Coyle is a much better winger. That's why he's the top line RW. Granlund is the 2nd line center.

Neither is tradable right now. Very young guys making low salaries with first line potential, and are already legit second liners.

Interested in a PP specialist? Former 50 goal scorer and All-star.

A place.
We'll even accept future considerations for him. It's a fire sale! Get here now before he's gone!

Just noticed Granlund on a 5 game scoring drought. Looking at his game log though; plus player and his FO% is really good. It's nice to have 4 centers and all of them good defensively. I think that's one of the biggest things in our success so far.

Proof he's an all-star. Amazing deal! Only 4 small payments of $29.99.

I think it's gonna take longer for Granlund to reach that level than Coyle. I wouldn't be shocked if Granlund would put 35-45p next couple of year before finally break throw. Just luke Filppula and H.Sedin..

Highly doubt that, he could have he most points in the team without Heatley messing the PP.

You can't blame it on others. He's been given the opportunity to thrive (offensively) but so far he just hasn't found a way to get many quality scoring chances. He's made nice passes but only a few of those have created point-blank chances. In other words: he's been dependent of scorers beside him. He's been a bit more assertive offensively as of late, though.

Sometimes the point tally doesnt say it all. Overall offensive and defensive play of Granlund this year has been superb despite not showing on points board.

Putting him in the first PP or removing Heatley from the second team would be a place to thrive.

Granlund, AINEC this year.

I think it's too early to say it ain't close. Coyle has made a really big impact with his return to the top line, as evidenced by his game winning assist to Koivu late in the 3rd period last night.

I also think Coyle will have a bigger impact against teams like St Louis, Anaheim, LA and San Jose than Granlund will.

^ I don't know about bigger impact. Granlund is still playing PK and running PP against those teams. His impact just might be on some different areas..
