How bout Panotch offering up our 2013 1st round pick (which at one point in time looked top 5) for Ryan Whitney.

Currently working on a theory that Panotch has a deal with Snider to be harvested for organs as long as he keeps his life long dream of being a reporter for another five years.

No facts yet in the case.

Couturier in a walking boot is better than a knee injury. Probably a blocked shot or sprained ankle.

Timmy P just published an article claiming the injury was to his groin or abdomen.

I think Timmeh's brain is groin-related. In the sense that his head is up his ***.

I didn't work with the other Post-Dispatch writers that often, but when I did I was always surprised at their lack of basic understanding for sports outside of football, basketball and baseball. Most of these guys (outside the main shifts in the above three sports) in my experience would rather be working hard news and seen as "serious" journalists and are only in sports due to opportunity.

Thoughts on cousins the last 3 games? I think he has looked good and playing NHL caliber hockey.

Does he deserve the end of the season up or gets sent back down?

Hes not meant for the role he's playing in. He will be a solid bottom 6 player

He looks the same as he always has in his call-up's, nothing too bad but nothing too good either. He's just there & doesn't really standout either way.

If we keep losing games though he might get a bigger test run this year to prove himself.

Still too early on Cousins IMO. But at least he is getting a chance. He might stay up if we moved a few forwards like Raffl and White at the deadline.

I think Cousins has a bottom 6 role in the NHL in his future. He looks better at both ends of the ice than Akeson. Akeson really only looked good with the puck on his stick, and even then, not that good.

I think he's Akeson 2.0. AHL player who isn't able to cut it in the NHL.

He's a lot better than Akeson. He skates much better and has infinitely more grit, which will allow him to adapt to a bottom 6 role nicely.

Cousins had about 5 minutes more ES TOI than Raffl-Laughton-Read last night. He's getting a serious look.
