You seem to have an issue with understanding that fundamentally canada is changed and its for the worst.

The feds say july roughly yet international flights are arriving daily.

We were forced to stay inside to "protect" ourselves so have not developed any herd immunity.

How many people have died globally from covid19 that would have did from the normal flu?

Yeah this is a mass failure on a global scale instead of locking down the 2% of the population that needed protecting it locked down the other 98% while still killing off the 2%

Is there any sources saying herd immunity would have been effective?

Had to do something. No person should have to choose who gets the goods. The objective is to not exceed resources.

Hope you are all safe and well!

Check out Tiger King. Not too short, not too long, just right.

See it’s idiots like her and the ones in the store I was at that are going to prolong this till freaking Christmastime. They just piss me right off.

I am bringing a hockey stick to the store next time and anyone comes within a stick length they are getting gently tapped on the shins. Do it again and it’s a butt end in the sternum. Pull up right in my face and it’s a cross check into the chicklets.

I was going to mention that if people keep the shit you're talking about up, don't be surprised to see Bats, Knucks, knives, and possibly firearms start to appear. Some people are at their wits end already, and we're just starting.

I am just glad I don’t live in the States where there are open carry laws. Shit is going to hit the fan at some point down there in a grocery line.

No way, I'd call them if they could put more trees on the driveway though or a barricade.

I thought they’d need something for my dad but he’s been good since he came home. His 14th day is today. But his dr called him and told him he needs to stay indoors. And that doesn’t mean inside a casino.

Way easier said than done to get 38 million Canadians to suddenly wear masks properly and daily and without any facial hair as facial hair renders them useless.

As well making hundreds of millions of masks that aren’t for medical workers and first responders also isn’t going to happen overnight. It would take years to make masks for everyone.

With all due respect - It’s pie in the sky logic to think Canada and the USA (400 million people) will magically and properly wear masks daily that are not even manufactured yet.

You don't need 100% participation and perfect execution for there to be an effect on mitigation.

You won’t even get 20% and half of those won’t wear the masks properly anyway. It’s a moot point. There are not tens of millions never mind the hundreds of millions of masks available anyway and won’t be when the need is for medical workers, first responders and front line workers who are in harms way daily.

What type of thinking is this?

I’m sure you’d be saying that if a loved one got it and you know, died. Right?

Sure

Dad Dead - 78 yrs old Brain Cancer
Mom Dead - 62 year old Heart Attack
Littlest brother 8 months old sids

Yeah the mask thing is a non-starter for me. If I were to shave my mustache my family wouldn't recognize me.

Yeah most likely too late at this point, but it's a good point to remember for the future. Maybe start the idea of using masks for those who have symptoms even for the regular flu starting next flu season. It will catch on by the time the next pandemic inevitably happens.

Ah, I’m sure you thought “eh just let people die”.

Am I right?

I don’t know, I prefer to try to fight to keep people alive rather than letting them die. But hey, always an internet edge lord lurking around.

Nope but nothing is being weighted.

If vegas had a line open right now the financial collapse that will happen within 3 months will result in more deaths and family destruction than the virus will kill in the next 18 months in canada
