I've learned not to trust ANYTHING that the government or mainstream media says anymore.
Rather see if you gung-ho types are experiencing any issues in a year...then I might consider taking vaccine. With a survival rate close to 99%, it's equally likely I'd die in a car accident on my way to get the shot.

Just asking, do you trust non-mainstream media?

Do you base trust on facts or is agreement more important?

I put more stock in certain information streams than others, yes. I don't "trust" any particular source, I make up my mind on the evidence presented. The mainstream sources like CBC, CTV or CNN, NBC etc. are clearly no longer objective.

Actually 22700 deaths, 933000 cases.
Death rate is 2.43 per 100
So 1 in 40 people die, not 100

Total deaths in Canada between 2019 and 2020 is more or less consistent with trends. We added close to a half a million population between these years.
2019: 284,082
2020: 299,857

Dude, I can see a mile away you just want to rip into me because I don't think like you and you don't like that. If you want to watch your CBC's, CNN's etc. - go for it. I could care less.
Well you did claim that like 260k people died everyday while driving to work haha.

It's called a "figure of speech". Like "I could eat a horse". If you're trying to say I think that 1 in a 100 car trips end in a fatality, you're just making things up.

It’s also not 1 in 40. There are probably a whole lot of people that had Covid, never got tested, currently have covid, never got tested.
The number has changed but they use to state 6 to 16 times total official number.

It's also noteworthy and largely goes unmentioned that we seemingly have wiped "regular" influenza and pneumonia deaths completely off the face of the Earth...amazing coincidence.

Wow what an amazing coincidence that measures used to control COVID-19 have worked even more effectively against the flu (a much less contagious and less deadly illness).
