That's interesting that he would still have Puljujärvi at 5th in his organizational depth 23 and under still. With the situation it wouldn't have been surprising to see him lower. Maybe Holland will be able to get a good return still if he doesn't come back to the club.

Now the work that needs to be done is turning these prospects into NHL'ers! But its nice to see some quality in the pipeline for once. Some non-first rounder impact players potentially coming up is huge.

I don't agree with Lavoie over Yamo.

Without injury, he was on pace for scoring 25 in the AHL this season. That can't just be overlooked. That would have put him third in scoring on the team, at 20. That and Ethan Bear out of the top ten is rough. It seems like injuries play a large role in his ranking.

He’s only what 3 years removed from being one of the best world junior players ever, which if you follow Corey he puts a lot of stock into. I thought the list was well done. Corey puts skating above all else in his rankings pretty much, which is why I think Benson and Marody are a little lower. He’s also way lower on Persson and Nygards NHL ability then virtually everyone, which I think might have some stock, I also don’t understand how most have them pencilled in before camp

There's tons of competition this year for spots throughout the lineup. One thing is for certain is Bakersfield should be a dominant force again. Hopefully the bottom 6 on the big club can take a big step forward. It will make for a better year. On the backend I think injuries will be a big factor also. This team really can't afford to have Klef, Larsson, Russell or Nurse go down for any long stretch of the year.

We might have to do a sacrifice before the season starts.

I feel like every team would be up the creek of all 4 of their top 4 defensemen got injured...

Lol

Of course, but I was implying anyone 1 or 2 (like last year when Klef and Russell both went down at the same time) would be season ending again. We need the same luck like we had in the 2016-17 season. Realistically we just don't have the depth on D to weather a storm like last year.

Won't be said often, but in this case HF got it right - more specifically the top 10 as well as Starrett over Konovalov and Rodrigue.

I might switch Marody and McLeod because of Marody's rookie AHL season, but that's about it.

Really surprised to see Safin in the top 20 given last year. Now, granted I still have hope for him but there are a couple of players that were left off the list that will be guaranteed pros...whether they are in the NHL is another thing but Berglund is one of those. I would say Kemp is another.

I’m very impressed with our prospects.

Also impressed that we have, according to Pronmans potential assessment, having our top 11 being at minimum, legit NHL prospects.

I'd be shocked if Broberg turns out better than Bouchard... Bouchard to me is head and shoulders better... but it would be fantastic if Broberg could even be close to the level of Bouchard as you'd have 2 top pairing dmen coming up the ranks.

That seems about right to me. We are definitely in the top half of the league.
