Construct your own team from the 7 Canadian teams roster!

Hey guys, thought this would be an interesting thread. We're always talking about who we would want from different Canadian teams on our own team like McDavid, Drai, Nylander, Boeser, etc.

So, if you had it your way and you had to build a team of 20 roster spots (12F, 6D, 2G) who would be on your team? Just to make it fun, lets ignore the salary cap .

I'll start it off:

Horvat - Scheifele - Nylander

Guys, as mentioned - you're free to choose your own team.

Not trying to please everyone, to me, I am happy with what I have selected. There is no offence or hate towards anyone not taken. I think Gio and Hamilton are REALLY good players. Definitely better than Mete, but I like what Mete brings. He's young, fast and he looks like he'll be pretty good in the coming years. It's just for fun. Don't take it so seriously, that's why I didn't even include a cap. Just run off the players off the top of your head.

Lol. na I didn't. Just personal preference, plus I have not had the privilege of watching many Edmonton games this season and wasn't sure if he was playing center or wing.

that being said I would slot him in over horvat if he is playing wing.

I'd say Gio is the best defenceman from a Canadian team this season (due to Karlsson's injury) and really has been second to only Karlsson for quite a few years now. If you want to leave Gio off or McDavid off, you can, but you're not picking the best team.
