Currently, we have three of the longest consecutive games streaks in NHL history. The five longest consecutive regular season game streaks are:
  1. Jarvis had 964 RS+105 PO=1069 with playoffs
  2. Unger had 914RS +25 PO=949
  3. Yandle: 911+55=966
  4. Marleau: 898+103=1001
  5. Kessel: 889+81=970
As a Florida fan, I'm curious if the more interesting statistic includes playoff games played. (This alters the order for the current players, while moving Unger down) On one end, it is impressive that Marleau has played over a 1000 games. On the other hand, it penalizes players who are on not so good teams (Unger), but we already penalizes players from earlier eras.
