And only five mattered.

Then everyone wonders why Canada is so despised on this site every year. As much as you want to be the best every year too, being top 2-3 isn't as pathetic as you make it sound, ****.

Still say it would have been awesome to see a line of Hall-Stamkos-Tavares in this WJ, regardless of position they play.

Even as an American, I'd have loved to see that.

That would have been amazing.

I guess we will have to wait for either an upcoming Olympics or an All-Star game to see that.

Well like all Canadians I've had time to cool off. Willie Desjardins will forever be the coach that kept a goalie in net that cost us 6 gold in a row, but the good news is because of his rotten coaching in this tournament he won't ever be let near the WJC again. This is what happens with losers.

But 12 medals in a row. 9 Gold medal games in a row. 5 gold in a row before this year. No team has even come close to that dominance. Not even the Soviets of the 70s. And when you look at it, if you take away a couple of blips in the radar screen like 1998 and 1992 Canada goes all the way back to 1990 with a medal.

Look I'll forever second guess this team, but if you asked me if I would accept 5 straight golds with one silver from now on I'd take it. ALL Canadians would take that.
