Hudon is not really like Plekanec. Both are good offensively and defensively, but Plekanec is way faster than Hudon, who doesn't skate really fast.

Still really high on him, and could maybe a future 2nd line center.

How about this...?

Zach Fucale: Steve Mason/Marc-Andre Fleury

Nathan Beaulieu: I actually like that Alec Martinez comparison, so I'll go with that.
Dalton Thrower: Kevin Bieksa, if he were to bounce around as a #5-6 defenseman
Mac Bennett: Bruno Gervais
Magnus Nygren: Marc-Andre Bergeron or Ryan Ellis
Brett Lernout: Willie Mitchell
Jarred Tinordi: Adam McQuaid/Marc Methot
Darren Dietz: Tim Gleason/Radko Gudas

Jacob de la Rose: Lauri Korpikoski
Charles Hudon: Joe Pavelski (but probably with not as much upside)
Nikita Scherbak: Kyle Okposo
Arturri Lehkonen: Brian Gionta/Matt Calvert
Sven Andrighetto: Mats Zuccarello
Mike McCarron: Dwight King/Bryan Bickell
Jeremy Gregoire: Max Talbot/David Bolland
Daniel Audette: Mathieu Perreault
Connor Crisp: Jordan Nolan
Tim Bozon: Mason Raymond/Alex Burrows

@rockjngo
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA "Martin Reway -Tomas Plekanec lite"
Thanks for the joke !! Men, are you serious, no offense to you but, why people always compare players on the ONLY base of their nationality ???

Those 2 players are ABSOLUTELY the opposite :

Plekanec is a Center, very responsible on defense but with a certains talent in offensive. He is a playmaker after all.

Martin REWAY is a center/Left wing he focus on his offensive and it will be in my opinion one of the last player I will call for PK or other defensive task.

Sincerly yours ;)

It's not a HF list unless you compare at least 2 of our prospects to Lemieux, or LaFleur.

So Hudon is our best prospect ? star 1st liner and sherbak a 0.05 ppg player in the khl ?

Khl? Where have you been?

And op, to say that i strongly disagreed with your list would be the polite way to put it. Although I do like that Martinez comparison

"When I got there I was a very offensive guy," Plekanec said this week. "Actually, I didn't know anything about defense. I played from the red line to the opposition's goal line."

From an article, posted today on NHL.com.

So do you have some knowledge of Plekanecs' early career that he's not familiar with?

Or are you rewriting history in an attempt to arrogantly dismiss someones' comparison?

SincerEly Yours
