Great news!!! So if we can somehow remain healthy these last 7 games we will have a perfect roster going into the playoffs. Better than the perfect line.

That is a big if though. Wilson will probably hurt 10 people in our next two games after tonight.

I imagine that Gaudreau is back tonight and Malkin and Tanev both come back on either Saturday or Monday. I'd prefer Saturday just so their first game back isn't a back to back.

Tanev is still non-contact and has a pretty tricky injury, particularly with his style of play. I think they wait as long as they possibly can afford to with him.

BTW, looks like Malkin similarly will be back earlier than expected. I'd been hearing he was shooting to play the Buffalo series to end the season. Pretty clear he'll get a few more than that.

If Malkin is ready, I am fine with keeping him out of the Caps game still.
Philly and Buffalo have nothing to play for, and while I’m sure they’ll try to win, intensity and risk should be a bit lower.
