This playoff will be a test for the Avs. This is really the first time since 2004 that this team is being touted as a Cup favorite. Guys like MacKinnon and Landeskog are gonna need to step up to the challenge.

This. We can look back at Avs history and why Game 1 is so important especially against a lower seed. Im almost certain the Avs have a pretty stellar record when they take Game 1 of a series. Not so much when its the other way around.
