Blackwell shhots right and is a 50% career stat on draws.

That he shoots right helps when we need a dominant right hand match up on the draw...Sonetomes you want tge left hand dominant to mathup brst,otgerctomesxhou want the right hand doninantcC to take tge draw.


So it gives us flexibility in who we can put out on the draw to optimize our chances of winning it.

It may all be fir nought however...our goaltending will be so bad that it mitigates any defensive improvements in othercareas (eg. s Jones gets coached up by Richardson and cuts his -37 down to a morecredoectable -15...Murphy rebounds more respectable-5.... Toews gets back to a more respectable Zero ....our forwardsxall he bettercshotcsuporesdion numbers...but ifvtge gialiesxstink ,as exmoected,tfatcwill ensurecweclosexa lit.


Hawks lost offense D-Cat and Strome gone..butvteam defense shoukd be better excepting goaltendibg badness may make any overall team D improvement be futile...wexarr gonna Lose.
