I hate this team
I saw him doing one legged box jumps on internet so hopefully he has really good offseason.

Well Giroux gets to play with elite goal scorer Voracek, so it's basically the same as Ovi.Wonder where G would be if he had been passing to Ovechkin all these years like Backstrom has

Yet our own fanbase voted LeClair over Giroux in the poll. Quality of teammates is important in whatever narrative you look at
Anti-Giroux and anti-Couturier people just love being wrong. The previous page is pretty funny.
LeClair was a hell of a player and his numbers never dipped when Lindros was out of the lineup.
Those Clarke numbers are amazing, given the style of play back in the 1970s.
Giroux could not have thrived in that environment, "where everything goes."
Clarke was about the same size as Giroux, but mean as a rattlesnake.
G wouldn't cut in the Lindros era at all.
Pierre Turgeon did. Adam Oates did...
good players would excel in pretty much any era IMO... just some are more suited for certain ones.
Giroux would be probably best in the 1980's-early 1990's and the ~4-5 years immediately post lockout. But so would a lot of forwards... that environment was the best environment for skilled forwards to flourish.

Played way bigger and wouldn''t take shit and fought threw everything. G is playing great but to fight threw holding all game long would kill him. Great for todays game though.Mark Recchi did well for himself. He is 5'10 and 185-195 over his career. That's Giroux's size.
