My guess is they'll start airing them on the days that were slotted for the seasons games. They're probably on YouTube too.

There are some on YouTube but the quality is very bad.

The whole 2008 playoff run comes to my mind. Also the 2007 playoff run had some really good games vs San Jose and Calgary. I believe the games are on iTunes.

Like 1995, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007...

Always pops up how great Yzerman was on those series, but the team depth didn't help enough the Captain.

And when we win, it's usually the insane team depth that beats the opposite team.

Honestly I'd suggest that overtime game from 95 vs Chicago that sent them to finals. Belfour made like 70 saves. Was that a 5 game series? Little fuzzy.

The 80’s through the early 90s was more when Steve was dominating on an island. By 95 we had great depth.

I would like to see the whole games.

I think YouTube has 97 series vs the avs. I think it is great to watch Yzerman, Konstatinov, Shanahan, Lidstrom, Fedorov...

I also think the games 1 and 6 vs the avs 02 were great. I believe I have watched game 6 10 times. The wings players came out like possessed.

Best time of my life as a Wings fan. Doesn't get any better than the first championship (that I was able to fully witness).

I have the whole 2008 Cup Finals on DVD and also the wings years ago of 5 "top games" between like 97-2002. They have the Cup win, the brawl, game 7 doubte OT vs Blues, Game 7 in 02 vs Avs and then game 3 double OT vs Canes. I think you can also buy for like 5 bucks the NHL vault which has games going back to the 60's.

I had an old tape of a game from like 92 or 93 vs the kings. Remember Probert and McSorley had a fight but it wasnt one of their classic fights. Watched that as a kid numerous times and remember the graphics and everything. Not sure why parents taped it for me. But do remember Gretzky being award some check or someone getting a check before the game for something.

so awesome couple of thoughts.

Hilarious to hear Ken Daniels say his 13th goal of the season on the first sequence then at the end he is like 17 goals on the season lol
I know he didn't get a penalty shot but he scored almost each kind of goal, shorthanded power play even strength and game winner
Camera man genius to grab that reaction shot from Bowman 7:07 you don't see Bowman awestruck very often
Not sure who I miss more Feds or Redmond in his hay day
Konstantinov's underrated offensive skills on display
Kolzig kinda stunk it up on a few of those plays also but it was prime Russian 5 not much can be done

I’m probably in the minority, but I love the way the game was played during that era than it is now. Especially in the playoffs.
