Aren't you all glad The Blues didn't lose Barbashev to Seattle in The Expansion Draft? He's having his breakout season, and right now is only 4 points short of being a point-a-game player, and has 20+ shooting % and 15 goals in 38 games! :thumbu:
Very wise observation.

I hated losing Dunn in that process and Schwartz in free agency, but DA knew best. Barbie is booming and with the acquisition of Buch and the resurrection of Tank we have an amazing Russian lineup that can do some real damage.

Washington Florida and Nashville aren't good teams?
There's no question that Husso is playing better than Binnington right now. I think that Berube should ride Husso in 2 out of 3 games for a while until Binnington's game is back at least at the same level as Husso's. Maybe that will light a fire under Binnington.

Husso didn't beat Florida and the only reason he beat Washington was because of incompetence on the part of Washington in the first missing multiple open nets. Husso is showing nothing that Allen didn't show as a BACKUP.

940 save percent in two games against them when he faced 88 shots between the two games, but Lindgren came in and made 3 saves and got the win, his loss to them was in a SO.
70% of his starts his save percentage is above league average, but sure, he should back up the guy who is above average 35% of the time...
He's almost a +9 GSAA, Binnington is over -3. Anyone who can't see he's playing better than Binnington this year doesn't know what they're looking at.

Husso has better stats but I don't know about playing better. He has limited games and is mostly sheltered at with home games. Even Allen looked amazing as a back up but very poor as a starter.

I was absolutely dreading losing Barby to Seattle.soooooo glad it was Dunn instead

even when not scoring, Barby has been a very effective player here
