Congrats to him. Played on some AWFUL Rams teams, sure was glad he was able to get a few rings elsewhere.

They couldn't agree on a role, and Long isn't interested in moving to another team. Long was coming in on 3rd down while Bennett moved to DT. With Malik Jackson in, they don't need to do that now, although they are short on d-end depth. Long didn't want to put in the off-season work for a reduced role. I sense there's a chance this gets re-visited mid-season if both Long thinks he's in-shape and the Eagles have a problem, which I do think they'll have unless there's another move they come up with.

11 years in the NFL... man, I feel like it was just yesterday he came into the league.

He was the best part of the worst era of football here and I was thrilled for him to go on and have success elsewhere.

Add on all the charity work he does and his love of the Blues and yeah, he's my all time favorite player.
