Fantastic season by Nashville. A bright future indeed.
Chicago is clearly the favorite to win it all, IMHO.

Sounds like luck to me. That's really what it comes down to in this sport. Aside from the skill, you do need luck to win. It's the same in baseball.
It's not really an insult towards the Hawks or any other team for that matter. It's just a reality. The Hawks have had a lot of luck the last 7 years, more so than a lot of other teams.
They did not choke starting tonight. Nashville has been choking since they got in: won 2 lousy rounds lifetime... Unreal
Is there a point where Poile ceases to be seen as a good GM? He's been there for 16 seasons and his teams have won a grand total of 2 playoff series. I know he's never had all that much to work from, and I do think he's a good hockey guy, but that's a pretty damning record.
Would be tough to find another GM that has survived such a long tenure with such a mediocre record.
Hawks were fortunate to win this series. No Weber for most of the series and Fisher only came back the last two games. They're both big difference makers for the Preds.
I'm glad we actually scored 4 goals, Preds played really well in this game. I thought it was over after that 3-1 lead.
Great series though. The Preds have a really bright future. So many young players that will be part of a true cup contender these next few years. Hell of a series really, can't say that enough. Good luck in the future!
best first round series in a few years.
Hawk fans should be embarrassed they should have swept winning every game 7-0. Nashville was the worst team in the playoffs and it took 6 games without Weber. Time to start tanking a few seasons and build a real team.God damn Nashville, why'd you have to make that so difficult
If you say so Mr. White knight
Yet another wrong prediction!
