To Montreal:
:habs
-Erik Gustafsson (47GP, 30P)
-Gustav Forsling (19GP, 6P)

To Chicago:
:hawks
-2019 1st
-Jordan Harris

Habs get the help they need in the form of two affordable left handed defenders. Hawks get an underrated prospect and a 1st.

*This is assuming Montreal are buyers at the deadline and are planning to make the playoffs*

Montreal have said they won't be rental buyers. Bergevin has said he won't part with picks. While he might make a hockey trade, I don't see this one being the one to make him part with his first.

The "not trading picks" part kills this trade, but just for the record neither of these guys would be rentals. Gus has another year after this and Forsling is an RFA.

HELLLLL NOOOOOO!!!!

And Jordan Harris is very under-rated. Has as many points as top 11 pick Whalstrom :naughty: as a third round D:nod:

turnover, Corsi, +/- aren't bad for Gustafsson
and Kurashev is a stud
Kurashev has just 44 points in 39 games in the Q. A stud? Nah, dont put too much emphasis on the U20s. Harris playing top pairing minutes on a top team as a freshman is more impressive.

And Gustafsson comes no where close to a first rounder LMAO

No where close? Not disagreeing he won't return a first but it's not far off. His contract is laughably cheap, he's an RFA, and on pace to crack 50 pts as a dman

Not sure what you think that's worth but it's worth more than just a single mid round pick

Montreal should not trade their first at all unless it's added to a very good prospect to go for a very young promising LHD, not much team as this, so let's try and draft one.

Not a chance by the Habs. We'll offer you a 2nd and Hudon at best. Take it or leave it. It makes no difference to us.
