I have been very pessimistic about Annunen for a while now, but that's three legit good performances from him in a row now. It will be interesting to see what happens when teams get some real tape on him and try to pick a part any weaknesses.

I mean hey, Chicago is supposed to have the next generational talent and its in particular his shot that sets him apart. I'd say b2b shutouts against Chicago is still hella impressive.


I think the Avs should still be adding a goalie for insurance, but maybe you go for more of a #3 then a #2? Then again Prosvetov has been playing really well with the Eagles as well so maybe just say f*** it and go with that trio.

Realistically unless Annunen goes insane down the stretch, its ultimately going to fall on Georgiev in the playoffs anyway.
