PSG took advantage of the dumb Araujo play as they had to do.

This was very winnable with 1-0 in front. Shame.

Good luck to PSG in next rounds

Gotta give it to BorussiaInc. Really gutsy display and great responses from the guys that messed up for them. Can't believe Füllkrug is in one piece after the beating he took

If they had the kind of resilience they've shown in the CL, in the league, maybe they'd have hung around in the race for longer. Because they've been really strong mentally in the CL and showed it today after things looked headed for a classic Dortmund implosion early in the second half.

PSG will be a tough test, but they've shown they can hang with that team before. If they bring their A-game defensively they might just hold up their end of a potential Klassiker in the final.

Congratulations BVB! Now against PSG in the semis. Bayern should step up tomorrow. Another German final at Wembley (like 2013)? Wembley seems to have a magnetic effect on the Bundesliga giants.

It was still winnable after the red too.

The 2nd PSG goal was due to awful defensive play on a corner where they had 3 guys go cover 2 on the side of the pitch leaving one in 20 yards of space.

The 3rd was a deeply stupid challenge that resulted in the pen.

If they don't give up either of those, they might have actually been able to hold on for extra time.

I don't know man. This is not a good defensive team and we don't know how to play with one less man.

Dortmund hasn't been in the UCL top 4 since they went to the final over a decade ago. And they've finished in the top 4 in the Bundesliga for 8 years in a row. Now they're about to finish outside the top 4 in the BuLi while making it to the semi finals in the UCL.

Nah, there are definitely worse big clubs. I mean, shit, you have a couple of clubs run by petrol states, a couple built by Russian oligarchs, some that are tied to fascism, etc. And most of them are run by crooks.

You're all whores, we were the only honorable team in the CL this year.

You can say things like that on pretty much every goal of this tie.

lol referee having some major main character syndrome at the end of the game.
That's how he is. He got all the big decisions spot on though tonight, except maybe that elbow by Ruiz that broke Pedri's nose.

Even Marca wrote "thinking cooly, he didn't hallucinate any decision"

Which clubs have been built by Oligarchs?

It's a long list lol, off the top of my head Shakhtar, Chelsea, City, Newcastle, & PSG have recently been built up by sketchy money...and Berlusconi used to bankroll AC Milan. But that's far from an exhaustive list and there are plenty of less successful clubs with artificial funding coming from sketchy sources.

In Germany, Hamburg, Hannover & Hoffenheim all have sugardaddy's that have pumped hundreds of millions into those clubs and Hertha had one until recently...though they're just the typical billionaire kinda sketchy not the petrol-state-sports-washing-program kinda sketchy

...and we also have corporate teams like Leverkusen, Leipzig, & Wolfsburg who have received massive funds from their parent companies over the years. But if you dig into teams' histories a lot of the richest teams are where they are for very sketchy reasons...like Real's past is heavily intertwined with the Franco regime, and they've built on that foundation he created for them.

Football history is a crazy subject.

Yea he got all the big ones right. Was weird with yellows though, especially at the end.
