Through seven weeks of the 2022 MLS season, which goalkeepers have excelled? The last couple of years, the elite in that position have been Matt Turner of the New England Revolution and Philadelphia Union netminder Andre Blake. But a fresh crop of top goalkeepers (at least statistically) have...www.mlssoccer.com

I'm still fine with him when he's at his best , but sadly this has been a very bad start to his season. We're kinda stuck with him now though, I don't see what else we could try . I guess we just have to hope he'll get out of his current funk .Yikes

FWIW, at the MLS level I don't see the keeper position as a major game changer . You at least want a league average GK obviously ( which Breza hasn't been in 2022) but it's not a position where I would necessarily look to spend a lot of money/ressources on.Breza is not good enough. He's not bad enough either to straight up cost us games (yet), but he never really makes a difference. Pantemis, on the other hand, had great games and terrible ones. He won us some games and lost us some. Not sure which keeper gives us more points at the end of the season tbh.
We've been too used to mediocrity in goal to understand the difference they can make.
Bush showed us little bits when he had to be clutch. The guy was elite in tournaments and in last stretch playoff races... but was so meh when nothing was on the line. It's not wrong of us to expect a keeper like clutch Bush. We're just so not used to it that we think it's rare.

He is cap tied, played two games for Canada.I think we're fine with Pantemis and Breza. But it's a bad start from the big lad. Sirois could potentially be the solution next year, he's doing great in CPL, so did Pantemis though.
...
On a totally different subject, I was browsing the MLS website yesterday and saw that Koné is somehow an international player for IMFC? I'm confused... Maybe because he's not cap tied with Canada yet?

Apparently not.
Fifa changed the rules. He needs to play 4 games to be cap-tied
That's what I understood also. Three games.Weird because in the CANMNT games they were saying Kone had to play three games with the national team because while he is currently cap tied with Canada, he can still make the swith to Ivory Coast due to his young age... At least that's what I undetstood
