CenturyLink and DirecTV Add AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain

It was advertised that Cox subscribers would be able to watch that game.

I saw that. Was supposed to have been on the NHL channel, but I don't have the package that includes it.

Wonder if any Cox customers actually got to see the game that way.

I tuned in at 2pm and got "alternate" programming even though it clearly showed the game on the guide. Looks like NHL Network is showing the Colorado game tomorrow.

Would have been nice to watch the game yesterday, but at this point I'll gladly settle for an agreement before the regular season opener.

Not hours before, though, as I suspect Cox would include SportsNet in a package I may not have, and I'll have to order it (cost depending), and I wouldn't trust Cox to get the channel fired up pronto.



So a few days notice would be welcome.

Hopefully Cox will/can keep the cost at a minimum or add the channel for free a la Century Link.
I know it sucks that the preseason games are affected but I'm more concerned about that 10/6.
