Welllllll that's the series. Unfortunate, you wonder when the franchise can ever break through consistently in moments like this. This is just another example of why long time Preds fans expect the worse.


That being said the boys played their hearts out tonight and Pekka gave us a chance to win. We have a good team here but we need more dynamic players. All those shots and zone time and far to many easy shots for Darling to handle. Oh well

Our lack of awareness on possible odd man rushes is astounding. Forsberg had two guys trailing that he could've laid an easy drop pass to and instead he just flung a weak wrister from 40 feet away at the net.

I understand you don't want to do a drop pass if there's nobody there and they transition the other way but you have to be more aware than that.

Can't really be mad at the boys for this game, they were just outworked by the more experienced team. They definitely laid it out there and for all the crap we've been giving Rinne, that was the Rinne of old.

Growing pains - our kids are gonna be even better next year. Josi, Jones, Forsberg, Ellis, Fiala - future's aight.
