Pretty thin from an Oiler's perspective. Domi does not help Edmonton out much at all.

If the CBJ want RNH the ask should be Laine.

If RNH wants to test free agency, Domi+ is a decent return - though with how he's played as a Jacket, I'd want a fairly substantial +.

If RNH will stick around long term, this isn't even worth discussing.

I agree that I'm not overly happy with Domi as the main piece back in this deal, but Laine is a ridiculous ask given Nuge's expiring contract, and the fact that they just traded for him a few weeks ago.

I think Oiler fans are well aware of where this is going, and that it is an unreasonable ask.
