"Eric Cartman?"
The Sabres can never have too many defensemen.
(Of late, that's been compounded by never having enough NHL-caliber ones.)

Tennyson might legitimately be the organization's No. 11 defenseman expected to be under contract (Dahlin, Risto, Scandella, Bogo, Pilut, McCabe, Beaulieu, Nelson, Borgen, Fedun).
Thank God.

Did you go with Nilsson or Nelson?(obviously Nelson is the RHD backup plan in case Dahlin won't sign in BUF)
True story: My wife's great-grandfather's last name was Nelson. When he went into the Swedish army for his military service, the inducting officer said there were too many Nelsons, so he made him choose a new different (Swedish) last name, which has remained the family last name to this day. When my wife learned that story, she gave her first son the middle name Nelson to commemorate/preserve that legacy.
His middle name is Nelson. I guess that is the American-ized / Anglo-cized form of Nilsson.Did you go with Nilsson or Nelson?
I'm glad he signed so we don't have to put up with months of complaining about how Botterill failed.
im surprised they signed him so low. I was guessing $1.5M for two.
Yes. He said he liked their work, but thought it was unfortunate they had to play in a bigger role than he liked. He added he envisions them in a "lesser role" next season. Presumably that lesser role is a third pairing role.Didn't Botteril plainly state late this season that he envisions Guhle-Nelson as his bottom pair next season?
Either way, I love the legit competition they'll have at the position next year.
Hopefully Pilut is next, and we have eight NHL quality D-men...
...Bwahahahahaha of course that's a joke! Bogosian doesn't even play anymore, let alone in the NHL...
