Edit: Damn, wrote wrong salary on the topic. Should be 850.
none of these players have leverage to get more. fleury wasn't arbitration eligible and had a qualifying offer of 874k nhl/70k ahl. he took a slight cut on his nhl salary to get a one-way deal.Everyone signing for less than $1 million per year.

How much we have cap left?
Bout 6 million with Gibbons and Bishop in the A.How much we have cap left?
The past month has been a dream - wake up - we are still trying to get to the floorWhen was the last time the Canes had to be aware of remaining cap space?

My mid-June guess as to the team additions was 1) trade for Haula + Eakin and 2) sign Talbot (1 year x $1.5 million). They upgraded the goalie to Mrazek and swapped Eakin for Dzingle. Paid an asset to get rid of De Haan and have a $3.4 million Reimer on the books rather than a $1.2 million Darling buyout. Pretty big difference between the Canes adding a $6 million Cap talent and dead space in Marleau but a 1st round pick is better than having empty Cap space.
Weird what we remember. I was making meatloaf and mashed potatoes when that signing happened. In 2011 we randomly spent that year and only had $2.2 mill in cap space.
The year of our big FA pickup, Tomas Kaberle.
I actually remember vividly being at Lens Crafters in Cary Town Center getting new glasses and got the alert that we signed Kaberle. I was excited as we had never signed a notable free agent before
