I looked this up, the last O-lineman they picked in round 1 was Jeff Otah, in 2008. Otah had one good year (his rookie year), and couldn't stay healthy after that.

What are people expecting to improve after Rivera gets fired?

This team has one impact player on offense. No QB, no line, a good but aging TE, no receiver that anyone actually fears. Cover one guy and you shut them down. And the defense isn’t good enough to make up for that.

They’re not a playoff quality group of players. Firing the coach won’t change that.
