i wish the OP wouldn't have handed the Oilers 3rd rounder on a platter because they have the option of keeping this years pick and giving the 2021 pick instead ! o_O
I went with capfriendly but can change it if it is an issue! You wanna join?

I'll try a different challenge this time. Just handle them with care; they're quite fragile at the moment.

If you don't have a second team and can take the New York Islanders, St Louis Blues or Wahington Capitals please request it.

Also post your roster!

The mock draft will start Monday the August 17th at 8AM ET as plan!

Good luck and good game everyone!

Before we get the game going, early thanks to @Carl182 for putting this together, their first Mock Draft!
I figure a new era calls for some rebranding!

Firstly, the Arizona Coyotes will be rebranding as the GLENDALE VICTORY
puck grizzlies 2.png

The St. Louis Blues will be updating one of their retro logos and going for a throwback look
Blues1.png

And lastly, the Buffalo Sabres understand the road has been tough recently, and so really want to honour their fans by incorporating and celebrating their team's complete history in a new primary logo.
The crossed sabres on the round shield have been around since the team's inception in 1970 and are an absolute staple.
The buffalo head served as a striking symbol of power from 1996 until 2006 and are poised behind the sabres, ready to burst out and break free.
The lettering comes from the 2006-2013 wordmark and the "B" and the "S" boldly represent the city and the team, and in no way could the "BS" be construed to mean anything else!
And lastly if you recognize the unique colours, they're not from 1970, and they're not from 2020... It's the exact colour palette, down to the HEX code, from the absolutely universally loved and adored 2006-2010 "Buffaslug" set!

And so without further adieu!

LA might be interested in trading down from 2 but stay within the top 5.

I will give it about a half hour to keep the pace up but want to see what is out there.
