Cross Hanas: "This is a kid who has the feet and motor to be schooled into a tenacious checking line forward. However, those hands. Anyone watching can see he's just an "Oh, I get it" click away from tearing apart defenses on a nightly basis. We're willing to bet on the latter with this pick, but will happily settle with the former."
Jacob Truscott: "The kind of Dman we like: namely the type of player whose value is only really noticed when watching him on a regular basis. He'll need time, but we see him in this league one or another over the course of time. We'll have him watching a lot of tape of Adam Pelech."
Artyom Galimov: "Fourth time is a charm for a kid who put up 23-points in the KHL last season. But what few realize is that he was already entrusted with defensive assignments and time on the PK. It was something we've seen at the international level as well for Team Russia. Age 20 is nothing at this level and we see Galimov turning himself a player of value in several capacities over time."
Elliot Desnoyers: "Lost behind many stars at the junior level, he's shown the gumption and skating ability to be the kind of pest that forces his way into the NHL by not making a lot of friends on the ice. We're excited to see what he'll do with Moncton, a club he should get a little more offensive responsibility with. It's always a good thing when you work this hard and can stay within your limits, and this guy has taken on the checking line role two years in a row. We'll soon find out if there's more to his game."
Christopher Merisier-Ortiz: "Everyone always talks about how much they like the guys who do everything well, but don't excel at any one thing. They also tend to go under the radar. That's what we wanted to aim for in the 7th round. Here's a guy who has wonderful 4-way movement and a real penchant for reading plays as they unfold. Now, we feel he's 1-2 seasons away from becoming a pro and can work his way into an NHL job. The necessary tools are there."

"We had to make some big changes for the sake of the cap in order to A) get under it and B) keep our prized restricted free agents, all three of which are key components to our success. We had to sacrifice a lot of quality players and prospects to achieve this.
However, we're welcoming back former Islander first rounder Kyle Okposo who is at that stage in his career where we'll be emphasizing a role as a 3-zone player with a checker's mentality. We hope he'll be able to fit in nicely as a more gangly Cal Clutterbuck replacement on that checking line. We'll be expecting the same type of thing from Christian Fischer, who brings another big body to the fold and can now fit in with an extremely homogenous role next to one of our top checking centers.
Also added to a checking line is a player we've had our eyes on for several years now in Chandler Stephenson. We believe he's very close to exploding on the scene and feel strongly that he and Pageau will compliment each other famously. Now it's time for the coaching staff to tickle that breakthrough out of him. And he's not exactly a guy Coach Trotz is unfamiliar with.
On the bluline, we've added a defenseman who can take on an offensive role whenever needed and will otherwise add experienced depth in Nick Holden while adding a defensive depth Dman in John Moore who'll be moulded for a specific job as a jack of all trades on the blueline. Likewise, Jakub Zboril is on the cusp of a lower line NHL job and although he hasn't lived up to his draft billing, there's no doubting that he has the prerequisites and mindframe for the NHL game. His time with our organization will be soon.
As for other acquisitions, we placed an emphasis on bringing back a number of assets that are currently busy plying their trade in European pro leagues, several of whom we strongly believe could be playing NHL hockey right now. We'll not only keep an eye on them for next season, but also for junctures in this season where we might face the odd injury along the way. Lastly, Peter Diliberatore is a bit of a cherry on top and is a kid our scouts are very familiar with having watched the local standout program at Quinnipiac very closely in recent years."

Can we get a list of free agents or is that too much to ask? Difficult to look through everyone’s UFA signings.

Sorry about the confussion, the list of all UFAs and unsigned RFAs is on the first page! So is the list of all RFAs qualified that you can offersheet!
Every UFAs hit the market, that doesn't mean you won't resign them!
Please send me a list of all your RFAs you haven't sign or qualified and the one you have qualified but still haven't sign, so I can update the list!

San Jose buys out the remaining 4 years of Martin Jones's contract.
I am still waiting for @AveryStar4Eva, @RememberTheName, @Peat, @5cotland and @bennylundholm. We also have Philly and Florida on auto so it's a third of the league. I'll wait until Tomorrow for the first signings, I didn't received a lot of offers.

Brendan Brisson: "This kid really knows how to negotiate with the opposition. He also knows how to generate offense. He oozes it. He's got a few years to go before he'll be pro ready, and there'll be much for him to learn in college, but we took him here with the full belief that he'll be an impact offensive player at the NHL level."
Jake Neighbours: "The kid has his detractors, but we're not among them. We see him as an intelligent, energetic player who can play the game anyway you want it. He won't be in the show overnight, but he's going to be a difference-maker once he arrives."
Carter Savoie: "He offensively tore apart a league he was too good for and will take his game to college. We know he'll have his growing pains, but we were pleased to draft him where we did, because we feel that if he makes it, he's going to be a sniper. He can play with a chip on his shoulder, but it's that shot and sniper mentality that will allow him to excel if he puts everything else together."
Dylan Peterson: "Here's a kid who will be an NHLer. As things look now, the expectation is that he'll be a big body for the third line and he'll bring a lot of intangibles. We think there's more in the tank and if anyone has been watching guys like Josh Norris in recent years, then they shouldn't be surprise with how Peterson develops over the next few seasons."
Sean Farrell: "Landing him at 110 was a gift. This kid is a gamer and has the sneaky skills that allow players to have long, productive NHL careers on a scoring line. It's all just a matter of experience and physical growth at this point, because he'll need a good bit of time to gain his man strength."
Luke Reid: "He fancies himself a Chris Letang type. We won't hold it against him. He'll need to round up a few corners of his game in college and then experience some minor pro action, but we feel the sky could be the limit if all goes well."
Ryker Evans: "Watch this guy as much as our scouts have and you'll realize that the whole package is there. You'll also realize that he's got a whole bunch of "will" to succeed. Put him on a stronger WHL club and he probably has a +30 and 50 points."
Karri Aho: "We got this pick back in a trade and Karri was one of three players we absolutely hoped would be there at this juncture. A really smart player who now needs to be exposed to more high quality competition. We're excited to see his progression."

"We made three trades that saw three core, veteran players be moved to other teams. Brandon has been an integral part of the Hawks since our Cup days (within an intermezzo in Columbus) and we now moved two top-5 NHL Dmen who can contribute in all three zones in Murphy and Maatta. No doubt, others in the organization will have to step up to the plate to compensate for them, but we've got plenty of hungry young men looking to make their mark in the NHL.
What we do strongly believe is that we've solidly answered our biggest goaltending question and have brought in a guy we know VERY much wants to have a big say in the goaltending ways of an NHL team. Marc-Andre and Malcolm are very familiar with each other and we want them to bring a young tradition of winning from Vegas into the Blackhawks fold.
What our moves also did, aside from bringing back one of the league's fastest and pestiest skaters in Carl Hagelin was add several prospects to the stable who we're very high on. For us, Pavel Dorofeyev is just a few years away from being a very strong NHL player who simply knows how to play the game right. Righty shot Dman Dylan Coghlan has been wonderful in his two AHL seasons to date and we fully expect him to be pushing for an NHL job sooner rather than later.
Lucas Johansen is a former first round pick who we feel needs a new lease on life and he'll get it here. First, he's gotta get back into the sway of things after basically an entire season lost over the past two years. Damien Riat is a Swiss player who we've loved internationally and we've already contacted his party about concrete interest in him coming over after this winter. Lastly, Jack Gorniak has plenty of time in college after a rough sophomore season for a Wisconsin team that saw plenty of players underachieve. His freshman season was fantastic and we feel we're going to see his best hockey over the next two years of college play."
LEAGUE NEWS
The UFA/RFA market is about to open in a couple hours.
We hear rumors about a young player getting offer sheet, we will give you more informations as soon as we have them.
After speaking with several GMs, agents and different sources, they confirmed us that the flat cap will have a drastic effect on the market.
Also many star players are still waiting to receive a single offer from an NHL team, said some of the player's agents.
To conclude, many sources around the league told us that players are looking for stability in result of the pandemic. We may see a lot of players re-sign with their former team to avoid their families all the stress implying moving durang the pandemic. Or players moving to their home town to get closer to their loved ones.

LEAGUE NEWS
After witnessing Minnesota offer sheet defenceman Vince Dunn, one of the top forwards in the market, Tyler Toffoli, was the first UFA to sign a contract. And a lucrative contract it is!
The second UFA to sign his new contract is Robby Fabbri. It seems he really found a home in Detroit!
A lot of good FAs are still waiting to see if offers are coming in, or if teams will raise their offers, said many sources to our network.
We also heard rumors that the most covet UFA, Dylan Demelo (You heard right!), is about to sign his new contract!
There is also a lot of noises around a couple goalies about to ink their new contract!
