I still think a turning point for him was that game in early-mid January (against Ottawa I think?). He gave up a number of bad goals and HFCanes were commenting about Rod for not pulling him. Williams said after the game that Mrazek came into the dressing room after the 2nd and told the team that it's "on him". The team basically said "we got your back" and went out and held the Sens to only a couple of shots in the 3rd and won the game. Coach and team showed confidence in the guy.
From the start of the season to Jan 6 Mrazek had 18 games, went 8-8-2, with a .900 SV% and 2.69 GAA
From Jan 7th to the end of the season Mrazek had 22 games, went 15-6-1, with a .925 SV% and 2.14 GAA
