He may not be done yet but he is 35 years old this season so he's had a good enough career so far

Raanta is 34, turning 35, and played more than 30 games twice, as he was either injured or a backup. He did okay.

Raanta was very good in Carolina aside from one horrific stretch to start this season.

When Andersen was healthy Raanta was a great backup/partner in the platoon. When Andersen was out Raanta got overworked.

Sad he's likely done after this season no matter what.

If the Sharks find a deal for Kahkonen, Raanta would be a good claim to make and have him with Blackwood to finish the year. As well as Chrona did in his last start (his 2nd career start), I'm not sure he's ready to be played on a regular basis down the stretch given the Sharks' schedule.
