With that logic our top line and 2nd line got better if we get last years getzlaf and perry and kesler and silfverberg

Nope.

By my logic, the second line got better when a player like Beleskey was put on the line (it did, Ritchie is Beleskey-lite at this point), and Maroon will hopefully be better with a center who hits and can cycle (Thompson, Getzlaf and Perry were doing neither when he was on the top line, Horcoff doesn't hit, and Santorelli is too small to do either reliably) for the first time this year. Maroon is a complementary player who has been put with players he doesn't mesh with at all so far this season, this will be a chance to see how much has been him and how much has been the lineup.

If Maroon is still the same player, the fourth line got better (although I'd still prefer Jackman/Friberg/Noesen/Wagner/Lucky winner from Section 213 Row M Seat 13 on the RW over Stewart). If it's him that's fallen off, it won't. Let's see what happens.

Stewart has been one of the best players and deserves more minutes, give your head a shake
